Whangamata Summer Pop-up

Our pop-up at the Whangamata Marina has now closed for the season.
The 22/23 summer is one we'll not forget, that's for sure! But along with the challenges the weather posed there was much to be thankful for:

We had such an amazing team.
People with a lot of passion and talent. People we had full trust in and that we've loved working with. We really hit the jackpot and, as we close, we're excited to follow their journey's as they explore and embark on new adventures.

We've received great press.
You may have read about us on Stuff, Denizen (see review below), Concrete PlaygroundUrban List, in the Weekend Herald's Canvas Magazine or in AirNZ's inflight magazine, Kia Ora.

And most importantly,

We've got THE best customers.
We honestly can't thank YOU enough for your support throughout it all.

In particular, we were blown away with how many of you came out in your wet weather gear to pick up bags of goodies. Our aim has been to add joy to your day through our sourdough breads and artisan pastries, and seeing that play out in reality has been really quite incredible.

We're extremely content to be able to say that we know so many of you by name now. You guys make it all worthwhile. Thank you!

Please continue to follow our journey on Instagram or Facebook, or come and visit us at our Kirikiriroa store.

And, yes, we hope to bring Celeste (our caravan) back to Whangamata (our birth place!) for shortened pop-ups over holiday periods next summer.
