2ND BIRTHDAY BABKA: Lemon & Poppyseed

Collect from our Riverbank Lane Store (298 Victoria St) between 9am & 1pm on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 06.

To celebrate our second birthday here in Kirikiriroa, we're baking an exclusive throwback special for you all - Bagels, Babkas and Bialys! 

Our Lemon and Poppyseed Babka is tangy, swirled and glorious. Soft and fluffy brioche is rolled up with a lemon curd, vanilla custard and poppyseed filling, cut into two and twisted together to shape buns. They get topped with a lemon syrup as soon as they come out of the oven to make them extra sticky and delicious! 

Best on the day they're baked but also good the next day when warmed in the oven.
