The kouign-amann (pronounced queen ah-mahn) is a typical pastry of Brittany, France, with the name translating directly from the Breton words: cake and butter. 

Rüdi’s version of this has a crispy croissant exterior with a soft and moist almond frangipane & chocolate centre. It’s drizzled with chocolate and topped with slivered almonds. 

Contains: gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts (almonds)

Heaven in a pastry

I had dribbled over this pastry on the site for ages before I ordered one. It did not disappoint was the right balance of not too sweet chocolate wrapped in an amazing case. Gorgeous with my morning coffee then a 6 km walk to burn it off ha ha.
